60% of our life sciences portfolio is focused on biotechnology companies, with a strong focus and allocation of our resources in biotechnology innovation and growth. 20% is focused on pharmaceuticals and medical AI, and healthcare account for 10% of our investments.

10 total investments, ranging from biotechnology to healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Our investments account for a total of 197 products in different development phases, with many of them in stages of clinical development or pending approval. The product range covers therapeutic classes from cardiology and oncology to neuroscience and rare diseases. Further products include Urology, orthopedics, endocrinology, rheumatology, ophthalmology, virology and aesthetics.

Total market cap for our Life sciences portfolio accounts for 584 billion USD. R&D investments in 2020 accounted for over 21 billion USD

Quantum EQT Energy Portfolio invests in renewable energy companies and projects including Wind (Onshore & Offshore), Photovoltaic, Hydrogen, Biodiesel, storage and energy infrastructure. Furthermore, the portfolio includes companies that actively work towards the development of biofuels for the aviation and shipping industry to reduce carbon footprint and increase efficiency throughout their value and supply chain with implementation of new technologies and renewable fuels.

The composition of our public equity investments enables our multi-strategy platform to allocate capital quickly and thoughtfully to what we believe to be the best ideas and companies. Investment professionals across our global team are responsible for identifying opportunities at the security, asset class and geographic level. Extensive research is conducted on individual companies, situations and capital structures. The Portfolio Committee evaluates and compares individual investments and the overall opportunity set in each geography and strategy to shape allocation and positioning, with the goal of constructing optimized portfolios of our highest-conviction investment ideas. Risk is monitored and assessed throughout the process via a rigorous top-down approach, using a combination of quantitative and qualitative tools to assess the portfolio’s exposure to various market shocks, factor dynamics, hidden biases and other variables.
